SFAN Portfolio Reviews at the ICB Studios

REGISTRATION FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE

Receive an in-depth review and critique of your artwork and website presentation
from
 three gallerists, with recommendations for commercial and exhibition exposure.

Each artist will receive three sequential 15-minute one-on-one portfolio reviews with gallery professionals.
Reviewers will be onsite from 6:00PM to 9:15PM. Each artist must register on-line in advance

for a 45 minute time-slot for the three 15-minute sessions.

Tuesday, April 7th

SECTION 1:  6:00PM to 6:45PM
SECTION 2:  6:45PM to 7:15PM
BREAK:            7:30PM to 7:45PM
SECTION 3:  7:45PM to 8:30PM
SECTION 4:  8:30PM to 9:15PM

$99 fee per artist paid in advance with on-line registration,
with a total of 12 artists able to participate.

- includes "Portfolio Review Preparation" packet
to be emailed to all participants
Note that the main purpose of a portfolio review is not an audition to get representation by a gallery, but to receive reactions and suggestions on the direction of your artwork, feedback on your artist portfolio website, and learn of potential exhibition opportunities.

Kim Eagles-Smith has owned and operated contemporary art galleries in San Francisco and Mill Valley since 1996, and focuses on Contemporary and Modernist art. He began curating art exhibitions at age 14, selecting and mounting shows in the lobby of his father’s building in Scottsdale, AZ. Kim went on to study the history of art at the University of Arizona and the University of California. He was born in Chicago, IL, and raised in Southern California and Paradise Valley, AZ. Kim Eagles-Smith Gallery, formerly Elins Eagles-Smith Gallery in San Francisco, is a longstanding member in the San Francisco Art Dealers Association.  http://kesfineart.com

Gallerist Annette Schutz co-founded ArtHaus Gallery in 1996 with business partner/gallerist James Bacchi. An award-winning SOMA-based gallery, ArtHaus emphasizes museum-quality works, diverse in subject matter, media and style by noteworthy New York and Bay Area artists.  ArtHaus and Gallery Artists have been featured by more than 300 print  and electronic media  sources including; New York Times, Art in America, Art News, San Francisco Magazine and ABC-TV. Annette was born in South Dakota and has a Bachelor of  Fine Arts degree and Art History Degree from the University of South Dakota.   www.arthaus-sf.com

Note that sometimes a gallerist may have to cancel their participation at short notice due to unforseen circumstances such as a family emergency or health reasons.  A replacement gallerist will fill in their place and artists will be notified if a change will have to be made.
